Just a quick note to wish everyone happy holidays!
We’re still here working on concepts for the next issue. Originally, back in the day, we had planned on getting all of our characters nailed down (including the visuals) before we started. As we got closer to our deadline, we decided that we’d design them along the way.
Well, that’s only sorta/kinda panned out for us. We’ve been successful with the first batch of characters, but the second batch has us stuck in a rut.
So, now we’re taking a momentary pause for the holidays and taking some time to get more of our designs finalized.
We’ll be back in January!
Well, winter has hit Texas a little earlier than usual, which has brought forth everyone’s favorite time of year: cold/flu season!!!
The bug has bitten both of us over the last week and dulled our usual creativity, so we’re a bit behind on getting the next comic out.
Rather than throw something together to meet our arbitrary deadline, we’d rather take a little extra time and get a finished comic out.
So, tune in next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel, for another episode. : )
Generally, I think the biggest problem these days is that people refuse to accept responsibility for anything; Themselves, their children, their government. And since I don’t want be a part of the problem… I claim full responsibility for Lil Monstas being a day late this week. I didn’t get the inks to Jim in time to color before the Monday deadline. Sorry, my bad.
As long as we’re on the subject, we’ll be taking a one week hiatus for Turkey-Day. So check back Monday, December 4th for a return to our regularly scheduled programming. 
After a reallly long incubation period, monstas has finally hatched.
It’s taken a long time to get this finally going (well, mostly a long time of procrastinating, followed by a couple of months of actual work lol), but we’ve got the first page out.
Please bear with us a bit longer as we still iron some of the kinks out. As M@ said, we’ll be working on a weekly release schedule, so check back every Monday for new episodes!
We’ve got a new and exciting universe and a fun group of characters to unleash in the world, and we hope you’ll enjoy reading about their adventures.

Welcome to the premiere of Lil Monstas!
For those of you who stuck with us from the beginning (a looong time ago, it seems), thank’s for sticking around! Thanks too for all the proddi— Er, motivation — you gave Jim and myself.
I’d like to start out setting a few expectations… I expect to have a lot of fun!
OK, so what can you expect? Well, there’s the fun. Also, you can expect a new, full color installment every week. So get your bookmarks warmed up, and in the habit of loading lilmonstas.com every Monday morning for your weekly dose of Monstas!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be enhancing this site as well. There’ll be a new design, a blog, some content goodies pages, RSS feeds, and probably more!
I really look forward to chronicling the many (mis)adventures of our gang of miscreants.
I’m sure I speak for Jim as well when I say I hope you’ll enjoy reading the stories as much as we enjoy creating them.
